The mаnual, taking into account the modern requirements of medical science, reveals main issues of organizing sanitary and hygienic control and assessing the impact of eco-hygienic environmental factors on public health in the «Air environment hygiene» section. At the end of each lesson, an approximate layout of a properly designed protocol for a sanitary and hygienic study is given. Much attention is paid to illustrations of instruments at the stages of laboratory research of the examined hygienic factors, which is intended to facilitate the development of the discipline by students. The section ends with a final lesson, outlining the main questions on the theoretical and practical parts of the topics covered, situational tasks, approximate topics for reports, questions for independent work and test tasks. A list of basic and additional literature, as well as regulatory documents, is provided. The publication was prepared in accordance with the requirements of federal state educational standards and recommended by the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education «DSMU» of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation as a textbook for students studying in the areas of training "General Hygiene" and is intended for 2nd year foreign students Faculty of Medicine.
